The person who actually gets cited by AI
iamcited is written by Frode Friestad, who runs a real news site that AI answer engines already cite. Everything here is field notes from work that's measured in production — not recycled theory from people who've never been quoted by ChatGPT.
Most AEO advice online is written by people who have never actually been cited by an answer engine. iamcited is the opposite: every method published here was tested on a live site first, and the results were measured. The brand is deliberately faceless — the focus is the method and the receipts, not a personal brand.
The receipts
I publish Droneavisa.no, a small Norwegian-language news site about drones and aviation. It launched in spring 2026 with no backlinks, no budget and no audience — and within weeks it was being cited as a source across five different AI answer engines:
